Ethiopia Contracts with Cardano
May 7, 2018
The government of Ethiopia has come to memorandum of understanding with the heads of crypto startup Cardano (ADA) under which local developers will be implementing blockchain into agriculture.
The memorandum was signed by the startup’s founder and CEO Charles Hoskinson and Ministry for Science and Technology of Ethiopia. In the frame of this collaboration Cardano’s representatives will provide learning for local developers on efficient blockchain use.
Director of African Operations from Cardano’s parent company IOHK John O’Connor has claimed, Ethiopia plans to start using Cardano’s blockchain platform for agricultural technologies this year. Note that memorandum of understanding is used for public proclamation of plans only and does not imply liabilities for any of the parties.
