Great Britain’s Crypto Facilities To Trade Litecoin Futures
June 21, 2018
British trade platform specialized on cryptocurrency derivatives Crypto Facilities is going to offer its customers a brand new product. The company launches Litecoin (LTC) futures trading.
As the company states, it is to start on June 22. The futures will be USD denominated, traders will be able to long and short LTC futures with weekly, monthly and quarterly maturity periods.
As the company’s CEO Timo Schlaefer says, customer demand for the product has been high and caused futures launch:
“We believe our LTC-dollar futures contracts will increase price transparency, liquidity and efficiency in the cryptocurrency markets.”
The founder of Litecoin Charlie Lee commented on by saying that providing LTC for institutional investors is going to increase coin’s liquidity and facilitate trading Litecoin.
Note that last month Crypto Facilities became the first British company to offer its clients futures for Ethereum (ETH). In addition, they can make futures contracts for BTC and XRP.
