Blockchain District To Be Built in India

The government of the Telangana state, India, has approved a document on collaboration with Tech Mahindra company with the purpose to build the country’s first blockchain district.
As the partnership between the Indian state and the organization implies, the innovational district is to become the center of distributed ledger technology and the so-called incubator for startups. The district will be formed in the capital of Telangana, Hyderabad.
The Telangana authorities said that they are ready to provide everything necessary to establish infrastructure of the blockchain district along with state and legal assistance for startups that enable this technology. The Tech Mahindra company in its turn is ready to render technological support for the residents of the upcoming district.
The state authorities are sure that the district will help in integrating distributed ledger in all main state and business organizations of the state and if this proven successful in all industries of the country.
The technical director of Tech Mahindra told the district has got all odds to become an interstate center of distributed ledger and is convinced that the district is going to stimulate current business and state organizations changing their lines into something completely innovative and pave the way towards the future for the whole world.
Note that Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, spoke well of the distributed ledger technology and called it a revolutionary one that needs in prompt adoption in the India’s business and governmental sectors.
