US Congresswoman Bought Ethereum and Litecoin Last Year

According to the published financial record that is obligatory for US officials, U.S. Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard acquired cryptocurrency to the amount of over $1,000. Specific figures are still unknown, the form said that she holds each cryptocurrency in amount from 1,001 to 15,000 USD categorized as “Assets and 'Unearned' Income”.
Both cryptocurrencies are also mentioned in the category “Transactions” that proves purchasing cryptocurrencies on December 12, 2017. The revenue from owning cryptocurrency made $200 or less given rate fluctuations.
This was not the first time when Congress members were found to own cryptocurrency. Virginia Representative Robert Goodlatte bought Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum. As he stated in his papers, he acquired Bitcoin cash and Ethereum to the tune up to $15,000 and Bitcoin of over $15,000.
