Taiwan Medical Center to Start Blockchain Project

Taipei Medical University Hospital reports, it is working on improving the medical system. The team of the project said, it is intended to exploit blockchain platform called Healthchain Healthcare with its major aim being modification of services for patients, namely, simpler process of accessing medical records.
The project included over 100 hospitals that apply distributed ledger to resolve “common pain points” in the contemporary Taiwan healthcare system. Those points cover data transfer among hospitals, patient personal services and staff.
As the head of the project says, enabling smart-contracts would allow for all medical institutions to synchronize digital medical data from plenty of hospitals with top-level security.
